-
Killer tails on them slags Good lookin horizontal twist goin.
-
I just got these on accident, they came in lots or jars. I don't collect CAC's but you seem to acquire a little of everything over time. So I kept some of them just for G.Q.
-
Nice cat Roby !!!!
-
They certainly made some obscure looking cats, I seen the bags Ron has and almost every on has that strange seam. Thanks for the pix Chuck, not something I see every day !!!
-
A few more CAC's, a snotty !! The colors on a CAC will generally pop out more than other mibs of the same age when their put together in a group. Obviously not this one a brownish green snotty. A CAC swirl A CAC striped opaque.
-
I "think" this is CAC also, so called road and tunnel design slag, if anyone knows better please chime in, I'm not that great at I.D. ing the road and tunnel type slags. But the single and double seam like the prior are unmistakably CAC. I'll hang it up @ hand gathers I'm no expert slag person. Hope this helps a little Bruce ?? Oh the American agate mib, I remember it being a more opaque corkscrew looking mib. not positive but I think I have a few mixed in with my red and white Japanese transitional's. I'll take a look !!
-
In "my" opinion Bruce neither mib you have is CAC, maybe Akro ?? Here is a double seam red CAC slag, these pix showing both sides of one mib.
-
They're all good Bruce Thanks for the pix

REPURPOSED HOMEMADE MIB CASES !!!!!!!
Chad G. replied to Chad G.'s topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
This is an enormous and very old what I believe to be ladies jewelry and trinket box,( bigger than the backgammon box ) still has the brass skeleton key and "working" lock mechanism. This is some large foam, box is capable of holding 1" to 1,1/4" mibs easily. Definitely made for home display or storage, not something I'd want to lug around. -
REPURPOSED HOMEMADE MIB CASES !!!!!!!
Chad G. replied to Chad G.'s topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
This is an old cigar humidor, it would take a pry bar to open and is also airtight. A very resilient case and excellent for protecting those high dollar goodies, also w/ locking capabilities. 19/32nds to 5/8ths are best, w/ no movement when closed. I've just spotted the marble counting partner lurking in the 3rd pic. Chad G. -
Here are some pics of repurposed jewelry, cigar, and game boxes I made using simple egg foam. First an old back gammon box, even has pockets for a loupe, extra mib bags, and a cleaning rag, the plastic calipers for measuring are under the foam, my "favorite" mobile case. I just put the mibs in it for show !!! Up to 3/4" a 1" is just to much unless this is all I had. Chad G.

Not mint is Ok w/ that rare color combo in a patch "if" it's a Pelt. Again thanks a bunch, if there's av. there hopefully you can capture it in the sun, have a good time exploring !!! Chad G.
-
Maybe a messed up Akro, but it sure has the peerless patch design, just not the missing color in the patch itself, get back to me on the av. thing would you?? now I'm thinking an Akro mistake ???? I bet you did have this discussion W/ someone thinking the same thing I am. If this is a Pelt patch a rare color combo. "Thank you very much for the extra pics" still hard to tell. message me if you get another shot in the sun. Chad G.

Just a few more examples for ya to look at, here's 2 since that's all I have. both w/ a different colored face but both have the stripe running across the top. Like Steph said, they look just like a miniature football helmet. The red face and the metalic one cheese has as well as the black face Boris has are on the rarer side, first time I've seen any of them but all have the identifiable stripe, even if it's weak like the red face.
-
Thought maybe you washed your white tube socks w/ black stripes on top w/ new red t shirts like me. I now have a great selection of pink t shirts and socks. Chad
-
IS THE TOP LEFT ONE IN THE FIRST PIC. AN ORANGE AND BLACK PATCH ??? IF YES IS THERE ANY "BLACK AV". ??? MAYBEA LITTLE WISHFUL THINKIN !!! COULD YOU DO AN INDIVIDUAL PIC OR 2 ON IT ??? IT WOULD BE A FIRST FOR ME, BUT PELT DID MAKE AN ORANGE BASE AND A BLACK AV. PATCH, "JUST NOT TOGETHER" TO MY KNOWLEDGE. CROSS YER FINGERS AND HOPE FOR A BLACK AV. PATCH & AN ORANGE BASE !!! Chad G.
-
Three new pelts, a purple Alley flame and my first polymer flame !! Two almost Identical Pelt supermen, Ona @ 19/32nds the other @ 21/32nds. The new one is the 21/32nds.
-
Man Roby that avatar is too much, most unmistakable !! I'll say it again, " Great marble " Chad G.
-
That's the same hiding spot my dog has, I also agree w/ Steph, I wanna see them sock's too !!!!! Also those orange and black scary flamingos !!! Chad
