And many of the single seam marbles have a tail....so. I am with Galen on this, I have my hunches as well.
Looks like you are using both the flash and a light placed close by Duffy. That could lead to the true colors being a little "off". The flash is cooler (blue) than the lamp (warm). Also known as mixed lighting and a real nightmare for true color representation. You pictures are pretty good really. I assume you are not wanting to get all crazy with the photoshop software.
