Top one is odd. If it had a green patch at either end, I'd say MK. Probably some other foreign type.
  3. I think that might fit into the foreign "figure 8" category.
  4. Jobber boxes is correct. Could be filled with any marbles although Champion is one of the more common types that you will see in them. That is what I think are in the one box. The other was probably used to store someone's "other" marbles - neat German handmade in there. By the way, WVS means West Virginia Swirl.
  5. I agree. I think I remember when she first started on this Board but it was a long time ago. As Ron says, with the ups and downs, she has stuck in there and helped many, many collectors learn more about marbles, marble history and related items.
  6. That $2 is probably in the ballpark.
  7. Nice corkscrews but I don't see "wispy white & clear" to make popeyes. I especially like the black, orange & white ones.
  8. Probably a Vacor (Mega) Red Devil.
  9. If you know the people who are selling marbles on the Facebook Marble pages that allow sales, you should be in good shape. Also, as sort of a policing measure, if there is a problem on a FB sale, it gets posted on the page and that seller is toast for selling more - unless they correct the problem. But, as Ron says, no "insurance", etc. except if you pay by Paypal using goods and services (not family, friends), that will give you some protection.
  10. Very nice - great shipment to receive.
  11. The cellophane types, like the ones at the bottom of my pic, do not sag. The poly types would.
  12. Great info, by the way, Craig. Thanks for sharing.
  13. I think the bottom two in this portion of my display case are ones from Post.
  14. Well, since I collect bags and boxes of marbles besides some individual types, I have about 60 copy paper boxes full. That is a bit heavy.
  15. Yup, nice group of Vitro Helmets.
  16. Boy, that first one really reminds me of a Jabo - little bit of cork and then the Jabo swirl pattern - colors also similar to Jabo.
  17. Messed up pattern - maybe a transitional type?

    Probably Alley swirl.

I don't think so on a true cork. Looks like a swirl with a partial cork pattern. Other choice could be a cork with a really messed up finish to the pattern?

Agree - newer - maybe Bulgarian or even the newer Chinese types.
