I've seen several sets over the years with this kind of combination of 'English' colour swirls so I'm as confident as I can be that our sets are original.
Akro75
Old Jobber box of hand faceted aggies… apparently these were owned by a kid named Will….at least it says so on the box.

Fire1981
This guy is 1 and 1/4 inch. What is the correct term for the mark on the marble where is sat on the kiln tray. This only has one which doesn’t make sense to me.
Fire1981
Disregard my question about why there’s only one mark. I found the other on this marble. So ? Do you call it an eye ?

akroorka
I was searching some slag’s awhile back for a post and I found these. I love the “corn husk” name for these and I search for them. I must have thought at the time that they were MFC marbles. Probably the best, most accurate nickname for a marble—ever. These are both ¾”, beat up and obviously played with. You have to love this stuff---I do. Marble—On!!

crashbelt
I've posted this board this week as it shares many similarities with last week's. Glevum Games, boxed, pine or fruitwood board, ground pontil mibs but quite intricate designs - same as last week but very different mibs - no black glass for example. Wish I had greater knowledge about the makers as my guess is that Glevum sourced these mibs from a different maker from last week's. I've highlighted my favourite 4. A red latt, a tri-level light blue solid core with inner white latt cage, two blue jelly cores (sorry they don't photograph well) - one a tri-level with an inner white latt cage.

Ric
I'm pretty sure these are German and I think they're kinda cool . . . The biggest (first) one is 7/8". The two on the right almost look like they were floating is some junk in the kiln.
