The colors on top make me think of Veiligglas.

Okay ... I _think_ it's a figure 8. That was my first impression. But the ribbons aren't very angled, are they. I suppose it could be a Pelt. In this case, one might consider other clues. What other marbles were found with it?

Cairo Novelty .... I said it with a long i, rhyming with "eye". Ki-row. But I've heard people who knew the area better calling it something closer to Kay-ro.

I called Jabo once to hear how they said it. They said Jay-bo Vit-row. With the soft i, not e, as Ron said. But I often slip.

I sent some by mail with explanations to nieces and nephews. Didn't even get an acknowledgement. I don't say this bitterly ... they're good kids and have sent plenty of acknowledgement of other gifts and communications ... just saying that it was a swing and a miss!

Top could be a West Virginia Swirl. Possibly Alley or Champion. Bottom could be Master.

In our forearms we're supposed to have two bones. The kitty orthopedist said that Punkin is missing all or part of one of the bones, in each arm. This is not something that is likely to be fixable. Months of uncomfortable treatment _might_ result in some improvement, but the vet recommends just letting Punkin be Punkin, keeping his nails trimmed for him, and periodically checking his arms for sores from how he runs on them. So that is the plan.

It's interesting. I'd keep it someplace safe just in case it turns out to be an unusual old one. I don't have a good guess.

Christensen Agate had some handgathered marbles, beyond their basic slags. Galen posted a few. With more than one color in the amber base, I'd looked to CAC before MFC.

Is that green, yellow, orange and white? Handgathered but what? I don't think it's MFC with that many different colors. Unless some of those colors are just added by the camera and not really there. Rick, you might be giving me too much credit on this one. Or maybe it's one of the many things I've forgotten.
