  1. No doubt here-- Marble--On!!
  2. This is just a great example of an Akro Corkscrew Parmcat. I will bet that the AV is green. This marble is cool because I think that it was a production marble sold to the general Public. (I have not seen one like this before) The damage on this one lines up to be a "Played With Marble"--not one from the digs. Some folks may call it "this"-- some "that"--I will call it "Pretty Cool". A very nice share, that just made my marble day-- Marble--On!!
  3. Thanks Al, You are a very hard collector to match and you have been of great value/information over the years to the whole marble collecting community--Worldwide. Keep on Keepin on!! Thanks for being who you are. Marble--On!! and Merry Christmas/Happy New Year to you!!
  4. "Pleasant" is not the word here my marble collecting friend--"AWESOME" is though. Thanks for sharing these. Image six and seven just blow me away--machine made--Really?? Just killer marbles my marblecollecting friend. Marble--On!!
  5. Start a new thread for any new marbles for the best results my friend.
  6. You are in the right place my marble collecting friend. There are many here that collect what you do—a varied bunch we are ( talking like Yoda again—I get it). If you are a True Collector—you have patience—it will take some patience for any questions asked here but we all will give a patient answer that is well thought out and accurate in our personal opinions. Give us your best opinion and back without any negativity. I am one of many that will keep you and any that post here straight. Marble—On!!
  7. Great marble!! Akro X20-- Marble--On!!
  8. Great images! Marble--On!!
  9. One beautiful marble this Akro Prize name it is— There I go again—talking like Yoda. Marble—On!!
  10. This one is a "Corkscrew"--made by Akro Agate--sold as a "Prizename" Cool find!!---Love it!! Marble--On!!
  11. Never feel "stupid" here my marble collecting friend. You just keep coming back with your questions about marbles--we all love this stuff like you love fishing. You posted a very hard marble to ID at the top-- The second one is more than likely an Akro Agate "Game Marble"--pretty common. The first one may just be a rare--rare Heaton Agate with Oxblood involved. @cheese will correct me--I just suck at wvs ID. Keep coming back my marble inquisitive friend. Marble--On!!
  12. Who really knows? Red and white are the most common colors in any marble makers trade. You have to remember--these were sold to"Players" not collectors. Any color combo that showed up under low light was a win for the seller. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  13. WVS is my thinking--not a Vacor or a Foreign made. No clue as to the maker. @cheese has seen more WVS in my opinion than any one here. Marble--On!!
  14. 1/2 Calligraphy -1/2 swirl. Imho---- A mild Calligraphy is better than a full on flame imho—who cares really? It is a great find. Marble—On!!
  15. Christmas and Veterans---- Merry Christmas to you all this next week or so. Let’s dedicate some of our best marbles and images to the Veterans that made this year a possibility for us all. This is a simple Akro corkscrew in olive drab and white. These often show some flakes of AV—really just flakes in green that were not mixed well in the batch glass—but I will call it AV because it is so rare in Akro marbles. Rarer still, is my Grandfather on the right with his two brothers who fought in WW1. Salute!! Marble—On!!
  16. Pre 1933 or so--the "CAC Guineas" were produced--who would have thought back then?? I am glad that they (CAC) made enough to be reproduced in todays world. Still--a nice share Roberto. Marble--On!!
  17. I submit my attraction to Master Glass Cat's-Eye. Some of the worst/ugliest ever made. I am not ashamed at all, I love anything round for some reason--- I always loved an underdog. I urge anyone to buy a bag of these--for cheap--just because you may find a very nice one included. One of these follows below. Marble--On!!
  18. They are all very nice marbles but image #5 just blows me away--. Thanks for sharing these hard to find in the USA marbles here Mojo. Marble--On!!
  19. I love it--either you are full of shit or you by-passed Chad. This is some great stuff and I for one appreciate it. There all kinds of collectors of these cool little orbs and you are as welcome as any from top notch—high dollar collectors—to the beach finders and the rest of us—“Kinda Normal” Collectors. Welcome!! You keep coming back to shake it all up!! Marble--On!!
  20. I would ask @Al Oregon before I touched this one-----just sayin! Nice bag! Marble--On!!
  21. I have never been able to ID these colors--just a killer marble however! Marble--On!!
  22. A hard thing to do--going through a moms or dads marbles--that is why I started to sell lately, to keep my wife and kids out of this hassle. There are no instant results with marbles ID--many may claim it but each one takes some time to fully get it ID'd correctly. Then it comes to the time to sell them—what a drag—selling marbles—one at a time trying to get it right. I suggest either continuing this collection or selling it. There are many here and from around the World that are willing to suggest a seller to you that I/we/her would trust. Cut down on the stress from losing a loved one—and sell them—with advice from a promised collector. I wish you and yours well. Marble—On!!
  23. Start over here--guys and gals will do fine for a correction and anything in-between—all are welcomed here. Marble—On!!
  24. It is not a CAC but I agree it does show some traits. I would not call it a JABO-a WVS of some sort and make imho. Nice marble--weird but nice. Marble--On!!
