  1. in this thread I am only talking about the recent ones with the blue transparent glass mixed in clear. I have not had them in hand but I have never seen a CAC with transparent colors mixed and the multiple stringy streams. Bring one to Canton so I can check it out. If they are a just an all blue transparent base I may change my mind. Anything is possible.
  2. I have and have had many transparent based "Flames"
  3. might be one of the earlier handgathered Pelts?
  4. occasionally packaging assembled in one country did not have individual contents origin labeled. such as solitaire sets with German marbles labeled made in Great Britain?
  5. Looks like at least a hard buff to me.
  6. Most people( if not all)involved with glass marble production were (are) adults. And many of the "off" marks just do not appear to be something that would be the result of normal vintage marble making IMO. If the chicken quacks it is probably a duck
  7. I would say just poorly made very inexpensive Asian marbles.
  8. THis one is smaller and does fractions. https://www.ebay.com/itm/General-Tools-1433-Fraction-Plus-Digital-Fractional-Caliper-Carbon-Fiber-3-Inc/282626386748?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
  9. the Led blacklights work very very well.

    pelt?

Transparent swirl IMO. Has some CAC attributes but could be from several companies
  11. Made by Wun Fak Mib one of Chinas premiere Handmade Marble Artists
  12. I really do not see how anyone could be happy when the find out what they bought could have been purchased for much less than a tenth of what they paid. Ignorance is bliss as Mom used to say
  13. Looks like a flame made Guinea to me
  14. Little sparkles is what you should see for aventurine, Those do look like Jabos and almost formed aventurine
  15. I think they did it in a way to make the most marbles as quickly as they could with no effort to increase the "flame" look that we find desirable. I know CAC boxers and Alley owners found the busy patterns interesting but I really do not believe equipment was manipulated to increase the likelihood of nice flame patterns. Totally accidental IMHO. Just a side effect of making marbles with a small glass stream.
