Size? Gonna say no on rarity ... unless it's a big marble. One thing black bennies were used for was ballot boxes -- like at men's clubs.

A typical way to measure marbles is with plastic calipers. You're trying to measure the diameter. A quick and easy way to give us an idea is to include a ruler or a coin with your marble photos. Calipers:

I was wondering also. I have not seen many of those even in photos.

Possibly a vintage "West Virginia swirl" here. Possibly Heaton or Cairo Novelty but there are other possibly WV companies who could have made it.

I am leaning Jabo here.

What I see of this makes me think if vintage "transparent swirl"

This one has the Jabo-like fold but I see some vintage possibilities. Maybe Vitro or dug Akro. (but not getting rid of Jabo as a possibility)

The rippling orange peel texture and what I can see of the white glass both make this look like a Vacor.

The orange and yellow swirl could be Alley or Champion. The colors on the next marble down look a little Akro-y and I see a hint of a long seam which could point that way, but the swirl is a bit wild, so I don't know. The green and red marble has a fold which would make some think Jabo, but occasionally other makers end up with that fold also. What sizes are the marbles? That's important. Also, a better resolution which would show us the texture of the surface could help with ID's.

There are old marbles with white figures inside which can look a little silvery because of the air trapped around them (I think). The modern name for that old style of marble is "sulfide". And there are modern marbles made with figures inside. I have very little experience with either of them. I don't know of any that look as silver as yours does.

Day 12 Both of the vitis backlight sweetly. One day I shall show you. For now I must fly.

Sometimes I can take the easy ones on handmades. I do not know what this would be called. I just gotta say I like it.

Day 11 A blue eggyolk and a yellow jacket. I'll have to show the eggyolk on another day. This morning I had to show the beautiful blue spiral galaxy arm.

I was figuring Alley.

I figured it was the lighting, together with the large size of the images. My guess was that it was amplifying shade differences.

Well, in the pictures there's a little different look about the green one but I can't place it. Does it have clear uncolored baseglass?

It's an NLR (older Peltier) and it appears to have aventurine. Those both add value to Peltiers. The Zebra is not rare. And I don't know the condition of yours. Any dings can cut value by half or more. On ebay I'm seeing Zebras sold for a dollar or two or three ... or for 20 or 30 or 40. I can't say what the difference is. Could be size. Could be condition.
