I will!š--a really tuff assignment, I know--just pick your favorite today--still tuff but here goes--- I never met Nadine MacDonald in person. She was the pinnacle ofājust being a nice personā that collected marbles. She shared all of her knowledge freely and never with any contempt for those who challenged her. She was a āMarble Jediā for sure. (She did know her Pelts very well) She also made some hand painted and glazed marbles that should be cherished by all.Ā This one is one inch and I feel blessed just to have it. MarbleāOn Nadine!! Ā Was at our first major auction with many local collectors. Ā Didnāt have a clue about marbles since we had just started collecting (spring 2023). Ā All the seasoned collectorās bought every lot except the last one, I think they felt sorry for us. Ā Was in the bottom of the dish all covered up. These frames originally came with one color of marble generally transparent colored blue or clear with a frosted finish in my experience.Ā I am trying to get a bigger frame of this type filled but these frames only accept 9/16ā marbles and I want to fill it with Akro corks. Akro did make 9/16ā marbles but they are pretty hard to findāa work in progress. The nice thing is that only one side showsāstill a hard find for me. I just love this stuffācollecting that is.
