So long ago I didn't know they were Akro, or egg yolks. I thought oxblood was a color of shoes I didn't want to wear when I was a kid. All I knew was I liked 'em and at a buck each I could afford them. I think at that point I still thought that I was the only marble collector in the world. Ahh , those were the days. Also, a harder to find Akro game marbles box, (interesting instructions in the box) and I love the bit of time capsule history with the kids names on the back. Thanks Alan, I posted the pix as examples for everyone to look at, I've only seen this yellow one repeatedly in pictures never another like it ??
